INDIAN SUPER CUP 2018 The  2018 Indian Super Cup  will be the first edition of the  Indian Super Cup , the main club  football   knockout   competition in India. The tournament will feature teams from both the  I-League  and  Indian Super League , both considered the joint top divisions for professional football in India.The Super Cup will replace the  Federation Cup , which was considered the top knockout competition before this tournament. The top six teams from both the I-League and Indian Super League will qualify for the Super Cup directly while the bottom four teams from both the leagues will compete in the qualifiers. The qualifiers for the tournament will begin on 12 March and will conclude on 31 March 2018. The Super Cup itself will start on 31 March and then end with the final on 22 April 2018.The tournament will be held in  Kalinga Stadium ,  Bhubaneswar . THUNJAN UTSAVAM Thunchan Parambu  or  Thunchan Memorial Trust and Research Centre  is a place in  Tirur ,  Kerala ,  South India . It is located 2 km south west of Tirur railway station and 28 km west of the District Headquarters city. New Delhi: Bharti AirtelBSE -0.88 % and Chinese telecom gear maker Huawei have successfully conducted India’s first 5G network trial under a test setup at the former’s network experience centre in Manesar, Gurgaon.  Abhay Savargaonkar, director – networks at Bharti Airtel, said the test is a small but significant step in its journey towards next generation 5G mobile networks, which could offer data speed up to 100 times faster than current 4G networks. “The promise of 5G is endless; it will be a game changer, and it will change the way we live, work and engage,” he said. “We look forward to working closely with our partners for developing a robust 5G ecosystem in India.”  India plans to roll out 5G services for consumers by 2020 and to achieve that objective, the government had in September this year set up a high-level forum that will evaluate and approve roadmaps and action plans to bring in the latest techn

NILGIRI MOUNTAIN RAILWAY Steam Engine Connecting with the Bogies The  Nilgiri Mountain Railway  (NMR) is a  1,000 mm    metre gauge  railway in  Tamil Nadu ,  India , built by the  British  in 1908. The Railway is operated by the  Southern Railway   and is the only  rack railway  in India. The railway relies on its fleet of  steam locomotives . For the past several years, NMR has used diesel locomotives instead of steam locomotives on the section between  Coonoor  and  Udhagamandalam . Local people and tourists have led a campaign to return to the use of steam locomotives in this section. In July 2005,  UNESCO  added the Nilgiri Mountain Railway as an extension to the  World Heritage Site  of  Darjeeling Himalayan Railway .
